अश-शेख़ ज़ायद टावर में आपस में सटे उनके अपार्टमेंटों पर बमबारी होने से अपने पति, बेटे (एक नाबालिग) और अल-ग़ज़ाली परिवार के तीन सदस्यों के साथ मारी गई, जिनमें तीन महीने की एक बच्ची थी। उसका और उसके पति का शव बमबारी के अगले दिन ही मिल सका।

Killed together with her husband, son (a minor), and three members of the al-Ghazali family, including a three-month-old baby girl, when their apartments, which border one another, were bombed in the a-Sheikh Zayed Tower. Her body and that of her husband were located only the day after the bombing.
