Shot in the head and thighs by soldiers in clashes in which Palestinians threw stones and hurled explosives and Molotov cocktails at them, during a military incursion into the town. Zakarneh, who hurled explosives at military vehicles, was about to hurl a burning Molotov cocktail at the vehicles when he was shot.
