Tué chez lui avec sa mère lorsque des bombes guidées ont frappé leur immeuble, tuant aussi trois hauts responsables de la branche militaire du Jihad islamique, un autre habitant de l'immeuble et un mineur vivant dans un immeuble voisin. Killed at home along with his mother when guided bombs hit their building, also killing three senior Islamic Jihad military wing operatives, another building resident and a minor living in a nearby building. Additionally, 51 Palestinians, including 23 minors and 14 women, were wounded in the attack.
