Killed along with six other Palestinians (a Hamas military branch operative and five Islamic Jihad military branch operatives) during efforts to carry away the dead and wounded from a tunnel the Israeli military had bombed in Israeli territory, near Kibbutz Kissufim. The bombing killed five other Islamic Jihad military branch operatives in Israeli territory. Two days after the bombing, Israel stated it would not allow the evacuation of any other casualties.
