Tuée avec 32 autres personnes, dont son mari, deux de ses filles, sa belle-sœur et sa belle-mère, dans une frappe sur un immeuble d'habitation où la famille s'était réfugiée dans un jardin d'enfants abandonné. L'immeuble s'est effondré sur ses occupants, qui ont tous été tués. Une fille dans une maison voisine a aussi été tuée dans l'attaque.

Killed together with 32 other people, including her husband, two of her daughters, her sister-in-law, and her mother-in-law, in a strike on an inhabited apartment block in which the family had found refuge in an abandoned kindergarten. The building collapsed on the people inside, all of whom were killed. A girl in a neighboring house was also killed in the attack.
