Alcanzado en el pecho por disparos de las fuerzas de seguridad israelíes cuando se encontraba a unas decenas de metros de la valla perimetral de Gaza, tras haberla cruzado y regresado a la Franja de Gaza, durante la Gran Marcha del Retorno cerca de la valla perimetral, al este de la localidad de Khuza’ah; miles de personas participaron en las protestas. Hit in the chest by Israeli security forces’ gunfire when he was a few dozen meters away from the Gaza perimeter fence, having crossed it and then returned into the Gaza Strip, during the Return Protests near the perimeter fence, east of the town of Khuza’ah; thousands took park in the protests.
