Murió cuando regresaba con su padre de visitar una carpa de condolencias. De camino a casa se encontró con niños de la familia Islim, que habían resultado heridos por un misil. Killed while returning with his father from a vist to a condolence tent. On his way home, he encountered children from the Islim family, who had been wounded by a missile. He entered the house of the Farahat family with them. Another missile was fired at the house, killing him, the two children, and Yusef Farahat.
