বাবার সঙ্গে একটি শোক তাঁবু থেকে ফেরার সময় শহীদ হন। বাড়ি ফেরার পথে তিনি ইসলিম পরিবারের কয়েকটি শিশুর দেখা পান, যারা একটি ক্ষেপণাস্ত্রে আহত হয়েছিল। তিনি তাদের নিয়ে ফারহাত পরিবারের বাড়িতে ঢোকেন। বাড়িটিতে আরেকটি ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র ছোড়া হয়, এতে তিনি, দুই শিশু ও ইউসুফ ফারহাত শহীদ হন।
