শহরে সামরিক অভিযানের সময় প্রায় ১০০ মিটার দূর থেকে দাঁড়িয়ে সেনাদের দেখার সময় তাঁদের গুলিতে বুকে আহত হন। অল্পক্ষণ পরেই আঘাতজনিত কারণে শহীদ হন।
