বেইতার কাছে আল-উরমা প্রত্নস্থলে একটি বিক্ষোভ ছত্রভঙ্গ করার সময় সেনাদের দিকে পাথর ছোড়া তরুণদের সঙ্গে থাকা অবস্থায় সেনাদের গুলিতে মাথায় আহত হন। আরেক ফিলিস্তিনি রাবার-আবৃত ধাতব বুলেটে আহত হন এবং ১ এপ্রিল ২০২০ আঘাতজনিত কারণে শহীদ হন। ঘটনায় তাজা গুলি ও রাবার-আবৃত ধাতব বুলেটে আরও ১৩ ফিলিস্তিনি আহত হন।
