Shot in the head by Israeli forces while holding an explosive device at the eastern entrance to the camp, during a military operation in the camp. Marshud was an Islamic Jihad military wing operative. During the operation, the forces killed a total of 12 Palestinians in the city of Jenin and Jenin R.C., eight of them were armed wing operatives. Four of the dead were minors, including two who were armed wing operatives. The forces also wounded at least 120 people. An Israeli soldier was fatally shot by Israeli forces.
