Hit in the head by Israeli security forces’ gunfire during the Return Protests near the Gaza perimeter fence, east of al-Bureij Refugee Camp, during which he cut the fence; thousands took part in the protests. During the demonstration, some of the demonstrators torched tires, lit firecrackers and threw stones at Israeli security forces who were stationed on the other side of the fence.
