Foi morto por um míssil junto com outro homem quando andavam em uma carroça puxada por cavalo na rua. Outro homem que estava em um táxi que passava por perto também morreu no ataque, e três pessoas ficaram feridas, entre elas um policial de trânsito da polícia do governo do Hamas, que morreu em decorrência dos ferimentos no dia seguinte.

Killed by a missile along another man as they were riding in a horse-drawn cart on the street. Another man riding in a taxi that passed nearby was also killed in the attack and three people were wounded, including a Hamas government police traffic officer, who died of his wounds the next day.
