Wounded when a tear gas canister fired by Israeli security forces lodged in his head when he was at least 200 meters from the fence, during the Return Protests near Erez Crossing; thousands took part in the protests. During the demonstration, some of the demonstrators torched tires and threw stones at Israeli security forces who were stationed on the other side of the fence.
