Hit in the pelvis from Israeli security forces' gunfire while about 20 meters away from the perimeter fence during the Return Protests near the Gaza perimeter fence, east of the city of Rafah; thousands took part in the protests. During the demonstration, some of the demonstrators torched tires and threw stones at Israeli security forces who were stationed on the other side of the fence.
