Foi morto com a mãe e o irmão (menor de idade) em seu apartamento em um prédio no bairro de a-Sheikh Radwan, na Cidade de Gaza. Muhammad A-Deif, chefe do braço militar do Hamas, também morava naquele prédio. A esposa de A-Deif e os dois filhos do casal, uma menina de dois anos e um bebê de sete meses, também morreram no ataque.

Killed with his mother and brother (a minor) in their apartment in a building in the a-Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, Gaza City. Muhammad A-Deif, head of the Hamas military branch, also lived in that building. A-Deif’s wife and their two children, a two-year-old girl and a seven-month old baby boy, were also killed in the strike.
