Killed together with 32 other people, including two of his brothers, his sister-in-law, and five of his nephews, in a strike on an inhabited apartment block in which the family had found refuge in an abandoned kindergarten. The building collapsed on the people inside, all of whom were killed. A girl in a neighboring house was also killed in the attack.
