Fatally shot by Israeli security forces during the Return Protests near the Gaza perimeter fence, east of Gaza City; thousands took part in the protests. At the protest, some demonstrators torched tires and threw stones, explosive devices and improvised grenades – some of which landed in the Gaza Strip – at Israeli security forces stationed on the other side of the fence.
