È stato ucciso insieme alla madre, a due fratelli e a tre membri dell'ala militare di Hamas quando la sua casa è stata bombardata. Killed with his mother, two brothers, and three Hamas military branch operatives when his home was bombed. In nearby homes, three members of the Yunes family and a woman, a member of the ‘Aytah family, were killed as well. A man from the Abu Abu Salimah family was injured in a nearby building and later died of his wounds.
