'Ar'arawi était membre de la branche militaire du Jihad islamique. Pendant l'opération, les forces ont tué au total 12 Palestiniens dans la ville de Jénine et le camp de réfugiés de Jénine, dont huit membres de branches armées. Fatally shot by Israeli forces in a fire exchange at the entrance to the a-Damaj neighborhood, along with two other operatives, who were also killed, during a military operation. ‘Ar’arawi was an Islamic Jihad military wing operative. During the operation, the forces killed a total of 12 Palestinians in the city of Jenin and Jenin R.C., eight of them were armed wing operatives. Four of the dead were minors, including two who were armed wing operatives. The forces also wounded at least 120 people. An Israeli soldier was fatally shot by Israeli forces.
