Militant de la branche armée du Hamas, il a été blessé lorsque l'immeuble où il vivait a été bombardé. Un secouriste et un médecin ont tenté de l'évacuer, mais le bombardement a continué et il est mort. Trois autres personnes ont été tuées dans l'incident, dont le médecin.

An activist in the militant wing of Hamas, he was injured when the building he lived in was shelled. A paramedic and physician tried to evacuate him, but the shelling continued, and he died. Three other persons were killed in the incident, among them the physician.
