Tué après avoir été touché par balle à l'estomac lors d'une manifestation près de la clôture frontalière. Pendant la manifestation, des manifestants ont lancé des pierres sur des soldats. Trois autres manifestants ont été tués avec lui.

Killed after sustaining a gunshot wound to the stomach at a demonstration near the perimeter fence. During the demonstration, protesters threw stones at soldiers. Three other protesters were killed along with him.
