Touché alors qu'il lançait des cocktails Molotov sur des membres des forces de sécurité lors d'affrontements entre des habitants du camp de réfugiés et des soldats venus arrêter Hamzah Abu al-Heija. Abu al-Heija a été tué par des tirs des forces de sécurité peu après, et une autre personne du camp a été tuée alors qu'elle portait le corps d'Abu al-Heija.

Shot while throwing Molotov cocktails at security personnel in clashes between residents of the refugee camp and troops on an arrest raid to apprehend Hamzah Abu al-Heija. Abu al-Heija was killed by security forces’ gunfire shortly thereafter and another person in the refugee camp was killed while carrying Abu al-Heija’s body.
