Tué chez lui avec trois de ses filles, dont l'une était enceinte de six mois. Sa femme, ses deux fils et 25 autres personnes ont été blessés dans l'attaque. Un membre de la branche armée du Hamas qui habitait l'immeuble de deux étages était absent à ce moment-là, et on ne sait pas s'il était la cible de l'attaque. Un immeuble voisin de quatre étages a été endommagé.

Killed at home with three of his daughters, one of whom was six months pregnant. His wife, his two sons and 25 other people were injured in the attack. A Hamas military wing operative who lived in the two-story building was away at the time, and it is unclear whether he was the target of the attack. A nearby four-story building was damaged.
