نیروی داوطلب دفاع مدنی. همراه با ۱۹ نفر دیگر در حمله به بازار محله شجاعیه در شهر غزه شهید شد. او در تلاش بود به زخمی‌های حمله به خانه خانواده السلک در همان نزدیکی رسیدگی کند؛ حمله‌ای که نه تن از اعضای این خانواده، از جمله هفت خردسال، را به شهادت رساند. در میان شهدای حمله به بازار، یک خردسال، چهار امدادگر – که سه نفرشان از نیروهای شاخه نظامی حماس بودند – سه عکاس خبری و سه نیروی دیگر دفاع مدنی بودند.

A civil defense volunteer. Killed along with 19 others in a strike on the marketplace in the neighborhood of a-Shuja’iyeh, Gaza City. He was trying tend to the wounded from the strike on the nearby home of the a-Silk family, which killed nine members of the family, seven of them minors. Among the fatalities in the strike on the marketplace were a minor, four medics – three of them Hamas military branch operatives – three photojournalists and three other civil defense personnel.
