Murió en la casa de sus familiares junto con cuatro miembros de su familia, entre ellos dos menores. Killed in his relatives' home together with four members of his family, including two minors. One of those killed was an operative in the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Another member of the family was injured an died 10 days later of his injuries. A boy who was walking along an alley by the home was also killed in the strike.
