Shot in the head by Israeli security forces during the Return Protests near the Gaza perimeter fence, east of Gaza City; thousands took part in the protests. During the demonstration, some of the demonstrators torched tires and threw stones, explosive devices, improvised grenades and Molotov cocktails at Israeli security forces who were stationed on the other side of the fence.
