গাজা ও মিসরের সীমান্তের কাছে মাঠে কাজ করার সময় ইসরায়েলি সেনাবাহিনীর গুলিতে বিদ্ধ হন। তাঁকে একটি ইসরায়েলি হাসপাতালে নেওয়া হয়, সেখানে আঘাতজনিত কারণে শহীদ হন।
