আরব পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রীদের ও তুরস্কের পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রীর গাড়িবহর যাওয়ার কিছুক্ষণ পর গাজা সিটির শুজাইয়ায় নিজ বাড়িতে বোমা হামলায় শহীদ হন। গাড়িবহর দেখতে থাকা আরও তিন বেসামরিক ব্যক্তি রাস্তায় শহীদ হন।
