শহরের জমিতে এভিয়াতার আউটপোস্ট স্থাপনের বিরুদ্ধে একটি বিক্ষোভে সেনাদের দিকে পাথর ছোড়ার সময় প্রায় ২০০ মিটার দূর থেকে সেনাদের গুলিতে মাথায় আহত হন। কিছুক্ষণ পরেই আঘাতের কারণে শহীদ হন।
