রেড ক্রিসেন্টের স্বেচ্ছাসেবক। খুজাআ শহরের উত্তরে গাজা সীমান্ত বেড়ার কাছে গ্রেট মার্চ অব রিটার্ন বিক্ষোভে বেড়া থেকে প্রায় ১০০ মিটার দূরে থাকার সময় ইসরায়েলি নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর গুলিতে মাথায় গুলিবিদ্ধ হন; বিক্ষোভে হাজারো মানুষ অংশ নেন। বিক্ষোভের সময় কিছু বিক্ষোভকারী টায়ারে আগুন দেন এবং বেড়ার অপর পাশে অবস্থান নেওয়া ইসরায়েলি নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর দিকে পাথর, হাতে তৈরি গ্রেনেড ও বিস্ফোরক ছোড়েন।
