শুহাদা আল-আকসা হাসপাতালে ভর্তি এক আত্মীয়কে দেখতে গিয়ে সেখানে শহীদ হন। গোলাবর্ষণে আরও দুজন শহীদ হন—একজন হাসপাতালে আশ্রয় নিয়েছিলেন এবং আরেকজন কাছের নিজের বাড়িতে ছিলেন।
