আরব পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রীদের ও তুরস্কের পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রীর গাড়িবহর যাওয়ার কিছুক্ষণ পর আশ-শাওয়া পরিবারের বাড়িতে বোমা হামলা হলে গাজা সিটির শুজাইয়ায় রাস্তায় শহীদ হন। আরও তিন বেসামরিক নাগরিক শহীদ হন।
