أُصيب في الجزء العلوي من جسده برصاص القوات الأمنية الإسرائيلية خلال مسيرات العودة قرب السياج الحدودي لغزة، قرب معبر إيرز، وشارك الآلاف في المسيرات. وخلال المظاهرة أشعل بعض المتظاهرين الإطارات ورشقوا القوات الإسرائيلية المتمركزة على الجانب الآخر من السياج بزجاجات المولوتوف وقنبلة وعبوة ناسفة وحجارة.

Hit in the upper body by Israeli security forces’ gunfire during the Return Protests near the Gaza perimeter fence, near Erez Crossing; thousands took part in the protests. During the demonstration, some of the protesters torched tires and threw Molotov cocktails, a grenade, an explosive device and stones at Israeli troops stationed on the other side of the fence.
