استُشهد مع سعيد وميسون الحتو أثناء توصيله الزوجين وابنهما بسيارته الأجرة إلى بيت ابنتهما في حي الصبرة. وفي الهجوم استُشهد ثلاثة فلسطينيين آخرين في الشارع، واحد قرب منزله واثنان قرب ورشة خياطة تعود لأحدهما. وأُصيب اثنان من أبناء الزوجين، وأُصيب فلسطيني آخر في الشارع بجروح خطيرة.

Killed along with Sa'id and Maysoun al-Hittu while driving the couple and their son to their daughter's house in the a-Sabra neighborhood in his taxi. In the attack, three other Palestinians were killed on the street, one by his house, and two by a sewing workshop belonging to one of them. Two of the couple's children were injured, and another Palestinian on the street was severely injured.
