استُشهدت في منزلها مع زوجها في غارة جوية على تسعة منازل قرب ميدان الشيخ زايد. كما استُشهد في القصف ستة من أفراد عائلة الطناني - الأب والأم الحامل وأطفالهما الأربعة القاصرون - أثناء محاولتهم الفرار من منزلهم. ولم يكن أحد عناصر الجناح العسكري لحماس، وكان يسكن في الجوار، في منزله وقت الهجوم.

Killed at home along with her husband in an airstrike on nine homes near a-Sheikh Zayed Square. The bombing also killed six members of the a-Tanani family - the father, the pregnant mother, and their four children, who were minors - as they were trying to flee their home. A Hamas military wing operative who lived nearby was not home at the time of the attack.
