أُصيب في فناء منزله في غارة جوية على منزل عائلة المدهون القريب، وتوفي متأثرًا بجراحه بعد وقت قصير. واستُشهد في منزل المدهون ثلاثة أشخاص هم الأب وابن كان عنصرًا في الجناح العسكري للجهاد الإسلامي وكنة كانت في شهر حملها الأخير، وأُصيب ستة قاصرين.

Injured in courtyard of his home in an airstrike on the nearby home of the al-Madhun family, and succumbed to his wounds shortly after. In the al-Madhun home three people were killed – the father, a son who was an Islamic Jihad military branch operative, and a daughter-in-law, who was heavily pregnant – and six minors were injured.
