قُتل برصاص الجنود عند المفرق عند مدخل قرية بيتا، في ساحة البرج العسكري القريب، الذي دخله امتثالًا لأوامر الجنود. وبحسب بيان المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي، أُطلقت عليه النار بعد محاولته طعن الجنود.
