أُصيب بالرصاص في صدره عبر نافذة منزله من جنود كانوا يقفون على سطح منزل آخر في المخيم. ويزعم الجيش أن الجنود شعروا بالخطر عندما صوّب نحوهم سلاحًا مصنّعًا يدويًا، لكن نتائج بتسيلم استبعدت هذا الادعاء.
