أُصيب بالرصاص في صدره من جنود أطلقوا النار من جيب، بعد أن رمى حجرًا أصاب جرافة عسكرية مدرعة بينما كانت القوات العسكرية والشرطية تنسحب من قبر يوسف في المدينة، وقد رُشقت بالحجارة والزجاجات الحارقة.

Shot in the chest by soldiers who fired from a jeep, after he threw a stone that hit an armored military bulldozer while military and police forces were withdrawing from Joseph’s Tomb in the city, during which stones and Molotov cocktails were thrown at them.
